We spend months preparing for birth, but what about the days and weeks after? That’s where the fourth trimester begins—a time that’s just as important as your baby’s arrival.

To make this period restorative instead of overwhelming, create a postpartum plan. Here’s how:

  • Name your support system – Who can help you with meals, chores, baby holding, or emotional check-ins?

  • Map out your meals – Whether it’s prepped by you, delivered by friends, or arranged through postpartum care, make sure warm, nourishing food is always within reach.

  • Create a rest-friendly space – Cozy bedding, warm lighting, and a spot for your tea and journal can make a world of difference.

  • Line up care – This could be your doula, an Ayurvedic practitioner, or a therapist. Know who to call when you need help.

Remember: postpartum is not the time to push through or go it alone. With a plan in place, you’re setting the foundation for a grounded, joyful start.
